Many different festivals are organized throughout the year in Mersin for the promotion of Mersin and for the local people to have a better time.

Mersin International Music Festival

The festival has been organized since 2002 and music feasts are given to music lovers with the participation of world-renowned sound artists and musicians from Turkey. The festival, which is held every year in May, includes local folk dances, competitions and many other activities. International Silifke Music and Folklore Festival Organized in the last week of May, the festival aims to introduce local folk dances and cultural values of the Silifke region.

Mut Apricot Festival

The festival, which is organized in the first week of June each year, exhibits apricot and apricot products grown in the district of Mut. Concerts, folk dances, various shows, competitions and interviews are organized within the scope of the festival, where the number of participants increases each year.

Mezitli Beach Volleyball Tournament

More than 40 teams of men and women are competing in the festival organized in the second week of August every year.

Anamur International Culture and Banana Festival

Bananas and product made of bananas in the region are exhibited during the festival organized by the Anamur Municipality in the last week of August. And the festival includes dances, speeches, cultural competitions and different events.

Tarsus grape and culture festival

The grapes grown in the Tarsus region are exhibited in the last week of August and various competitions and events are organized.

Million Fest

The festival, which is held every year in September on the coast of Erdemli, takes place in the atmosphere of Rock festival. In addition to the concerts of rock artists, the festival organizes different events.

Erdemli Grape Festival

The best grapes and fruits grown in the region are exhibited in the last week of September. Another aim of the festival is to encourage farmers to organic agriculture.
