Alara Inn
Located 35 km northwest of Alanya on the Alanya-Manavgat border, the Alara Inn takes its name from the Alara River. The building was built by the Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat in 1231 in an area of 2000 m² in order to facilitate the travel of the trade caravans.
While the inn has lost nothing of its features the sundial at the entrance of the inn stands out the most. The other artefacts that can be seen are the watch box, the fountain that preserves all its features even today, the masjid, the mosque, accommodation areas made for animals and the bath.
The inn, which was opened to visitors after the renovation, is visited for a fee and there is free parking for visitors.
Şarapsa Inn:
Şarapsa Han, which is located 15 km west of Alanya on the banks of the Serapsu stream, is approximately 15 meters wide and 70 meters tall and is built on a total area of 850 square meters. It was built by the Seljuk Sultan Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev between 1236-1246 to serve as a caravanserai on the historical Silk Road.
The facade walls show that the inn, which was reinforced with many additional walls, was built to be used as a fortress when necessary, with gratings so that it would not be possible to enter from outside.

It is thought that the inn, which fell to the north of Kargı Stream in the west of Alanya, was used as a caravanserai in Kesikbel locality on the road connecting the Mediterranean and Central Anatolia during the Seljuk and Ottoman periods. There is information about the year the inn was built.
