It is located in the Salavatli district on the Aydin-Denizli highway. It is also known that it was the sacred or worship area of the ancient city of Nysa and is connected by a road to the ancient city of Nysa, which is 4 km away. Akharaka is a word derived from Luwi language, meaning Ulu Su (Grand Water). Today, it is known as the thermal treatment centre in ancient times due to the presence of sulfur in the stream water and the sulfurous gas in the underground. The ancient city, which also hosts various religious ceremonies for gratitude to the gods, has an important place in religious terms. Within the sanctuary are the ruins of hot spring, hospital and many building groups. It is not known exactly which period the temple belongs to.
