Antiocheia Ad Cragum Ancient City, located 60 kilometres east of Alanya, is built on three hills in the region known as mountainous Cilicia and 300 meters above sea level. It was named after the King of Commagene, Antiochus IV.
The ruins of the city are spread over three hills that descend steeply towards the sea, and in the first part, you can see the collonaded street, agora, hammam, triumphal arch and church ruins. The second part is the necropolis where there are grave structures specific to Cilicia. The third part consists of the ruins of the medieval castle on the steep rocks extending to the sea. To the north of the city is the remains of a temple and in the city centre, there is a structure called Triconchos with three walls in the form of apsis and thought to have a religious function.
