It was built between the years 1219 and 1230 by the Anatolian Seljuk Sultan Alaeddin Keykubat.Yivli Minaret, the first Turkish structure of Antalya, is located on the shores of Kaleici port. The body of the minaret, which is made of brick and china, is made up of eight half-cylinders and minaret is named after its structure length of the minaret is 38 meters and has a 90-step ladder.
The mosque, located right next to the Yivli Minaret, is the oldest example of multi-domed mosques. The mosque has 6 hemispherical domes and was built in 1372. The ruins of the Seljuks around the mosque is open to prayer today and it is possible to see inside.
