The 17 km walk from the ancient city of Miletus to the ancient city of Didyma was called the sacred road walk. The sacred road is stone-paved and the road signs are cleaned and placed for the service of walking lovers. The walks on the sacred road are held every year on the Sunday of the tourism week with the participation of citizens from the surrounding cities, local residents, hiking and nature enthusiasts, local and foreign tourists. Most of the statues on the sacred road, most of which belong to the 6th century BC, were dismantled in 1858 Charles T. and taken to British Musem. Participation in the march organized by Didim Municipality is free of charge and everyone can participate.
