Belcekiz Beach

The beaches, which extends at the beginning of Ölüdeniz is called Belcekız Beach. Shower-cabin-toilet services are provided free of charge on the beach with pebbly and sandy beach. And the sunbeds and umbrellas are provided for a fee. Those who sunbathe on the beach or those who swim in the sea can see paragliding parachutists throwing somersaults in the air or parachutists descending to the walking path just behind the beach. Restaurants, bars, grocery stores and other necessities are located around the beach. Those who want to go to Belcekiz beach by private car should follow Fethiye-Hisaronu-Oludeniz direction. There is also a minibus departing every 15 minutes from Fethiye.

Çalış Beach

Çalış, which is 5 km away from Fethiye, has a very clean and long beach. There are also restaurants, bars and cafeterias along the beach, which has a long coastline.  Çalış beach is one of the best beaches in Fethiye with its easy transportation, clean sea and great views.

Every year from mid-April to November, Caretta caretta turtles visit Çalış beach to lay their eggs at night. Çalış beach is windy, so it is suitable for kite surfing, surfing and other water sports.Çalış beach, which is one of the best spots to watch the sunset, is frequently visited during the summer months, especially by those who want to watch the sunset. Deve (Camel) Beach

Kıdrak Bay

Located 1 km from Belcekız, Kıdrak bay is among the pine trees and is one of the magnificent bays in Fethiye with its clean and fine sandy beach and area suitable for picnicking and camping. Entrance to the bay is free of charge, sunbeds and umbrellas are provided for a fee. There are various activities in the bay such as hiking and angling.

Küçük Samanlık Bay

The bay is immaculately shallow and wave-free and looks like a natural aquarium. It is recommended that those who want to walk on the pebbly beach should bring suitable shoes. Entrance to the bay is free and there is a charge for parking for those who go by car. Shower and toilet cabin services are provided free of charge in the bay, sunbeds and umbrellas are provided for a fee. There are a restaurant, bar and snack bar to meet the food and beverage needs of the visitors, as well as children’s playgrounds, areas for picnics and barbecues. Samanlik Bay is 4 km from Fethiye and can be reached after a 10-minute drive on the Latvian road. For those who do not have a private car, there is a minibus departing from Fethiye.

Büyük Samanlık Bay

Among the pine trees, the immaculate sea surrounded by nature, the pebbly beach and the magnificent view, Büyük Samanlık Bay is visited by tourists especially on the weekends. The entrance is free of charge while there is a parking fee. The bay is 7 km away from Fethiye and you can go to the bay by private vehicles as well as by minibuses departing from Fethiye in summer months. In order to meet the food and beverage needs of the bay, free of charge shower-cabin, toilet service is provided alongside the restaurant and buffet, while gazebos, sun loungers and umbrellas and beach chairs are provided for a fee.

Turunç Pınarı Bay

The most beautiful shade of turquoise colour can be seen in this bay. Transportation is provided by boats departing from Fethiye. In addition to swimming and resting in the bay, there are many different activities and water sports that can be done. You can also walk to the high points of the Turunç Pınarı Bay and see the Lycian tombs and ruins. There is no possibility for those who want to spend the night in the bay which is 8 km away from Fethiye.

Cennet (Paradise) Bay

As its name suggests, Cennet stands like a corner of paradise hidden between the pine forests and the bay. Compared to other bays and beaches in Fethiye, the bay is quieter and has a low number of visitors. There is also an establishment providing accommodation services such as camping with restaurants, bars, showers, toilets and tents in Cennet Bay which has a fine sand structure. Transportation to the Paradise Bay where Blue and Green meet is provided by boats departing from Ölüdeniz, Butterfly Valley or Kabak Bay or after approximately 1.5 hours walking through the Lycian Way path passing through Kabak Bay.

Gemiler Bay:

The 400 meters long Gemiler bay, surrounded by red pine forests and olive trees, can be reached by car through Kayaköy road and by boat departing from Ölüdeniz. The bay, which is 10 km away from Fethiye, is among the bays that are frequently visited by local and foreign tourists during the summer months, while there are also suitable places for those who want to have a picnic. The entrance to the bay, which is intertwined with nature, is free of charge. The toilet, shower and cabin are free of charge while the sunbeds and umbrellas are available for a fee.

Gemiler Island (St.Nicholas Island)

The island, where the remains of churches, houses, warehouses, cisterns and chapels belonging to the Byzantine period between the 5th and 11th centuries AD, has special importance as it was the centre of education of the Orthodox priests during the ancient period. The ancient ruins on the island were discovered in 1990 as a result of the work of Japanese and Turkish archaeologists. Boat tours from Oludeniz provide a swimming and resting break in front of the island. A spectacular view awaits those who reach the top of the island. The boat stop is also very convenient for snorkelling and water sports. Museum cardholders can visit free of charge. Gemiler Island is open to visitors every day.

And visiting hours are; From April 15th to October 2nd between 09:00 and 20:00. From October 3rd to April 14th between 08:00 and 17:00.

Günlüklü Bay

Located on the Fethiye-Muğla highway, the cove is 18 km from Fethiye and 10 km from Göcek. It has a calm, quiet, nature- friendly beach with a clean sea, light pebbles and fine sand. The shallow sea is especially preferred by families with children. There are businesses such as wooden houses, boarding houses, restaurants and night clubs for food and beverage needs for those who want to stay in the bay. Fethiye Kabak Bay

It is possible to reach Kabak bay, which is 16 km away from Ölüdeniz, by car and to reach a point, then take a minibus or by tour boats or private boats from Ölüdeniz.For those who want to go to Kabak Bay by boat from Ölüdeniz, the last boat departs at 19:00. Surrounded by mountains and trees on three sides, the bay looks like a hidden paradise. Kabak bay, which is located on the Lycian Way, is also used as a resting point by the walkers of the Lycian Way or as a stop for accommodation. Those who stay in Kabak Bay can participate in meditation and yoga activities on the beach. Katranci Cove Nature Park

Katrancı Nature Park, which is 16 km away from Fethiye, is intertwined with pine and eucalyptus forest and has two coves, one of which is sandy and one is a pebble. The entrance to Katrancı bay is provided for a fee and shower-toilet-cabin in the bay is free of charge for while sunbeds and umbrellas are provided for a fee. Services in the bay include a tent area, tents for rent, clean water, market, picnic tables, laundry, refrigerator and children’s playgrounds for families with children. For those who want to go to Katrancı Bay, it is necessary to go to Fethiye close to Katrancı Bay with minibuses that work until 24:00 and get off the minibus and walk about 1.5 km. Those who do not want to walk can call the campsite and pay a small fee to go to the camp with their minibuses. Those who want to go to Katrancı Bay Nature Park with their private vehicles should follow Fethiye Göcek highway.

Cleopatra Bay:

Access to the bay, which takes its name from the bath built upon the request of Queen Cleopatra, is provided by boats departing from Fethiye and Göcek. Half of the ruins of the baths are inundated and the bay is also a point where the boats take a swimming break. Those coming here for a swimming break can see the Lydae ancient city after a half-hour walk on the hill. The small restaurants on the edge of the bay are open for visitors during the summer.

Kuleli Bay

Kuleli Bay, which is 12 km away from Fethiye, can be reached by private vehicles or by minibuses departing from Fethiye. Sövalye (Knight) Island:

The island, which is thought to be named after the knights in the region in the 15th century, is located to the north of Fethiye harbour. On the island, which had strategic importance in Roman times, there are ruins of castle walls, old cisterns and mosaic ruins. There are cafes and restaurants on the island, as well as picnic areas and facilities for those who want to stay. Transportation to the island on the Gulf of Fethiye is done by tour boats and by sea buses in the summer season. Those who want to take pictures of beautiful Fethiye is definitely recommended to visit this island.
