Cumalıkızık

Cumalıkızık, known for its historical buildings and houses, has a total of 270 houses from the Ottoman period to the present .180 of these houses are still in use and the remaining houses are being renovated and maintained in accordance with the original and tourism activities. While walking through the narrow streets with the stone pavement, the visitors cannot be overlooked by the houses painted in colour.
Although there are close to 20 Kızık villages in Bursa and its environs, all of them were burned and destroyed during the Greek occupation, except for the village of Cumalıkızık. In addition to the streets of Cumalıkızık, there are mosques, Turkish baths, Cumalıkızık museum, Monument Çınarlar and Cumalıkızık mansions.
Cumalıkızık, which has a magnificent view and history, has been taken under protection and has been included in the Unesco World Heritage List in 2014.
