Ilgaz Mountains National Park

Ilgaz Mountains, declared a national park in 1976, is one of the most visited spots for nature and ski lovers in winter months. In the national park located within the borders of Çankırı and Kastamonu province, there are dozens of endemic plants, hundreds of different tree species and wild animals. Within the national park area, there are hiking, photography tours, botanical tours, wildlife observation tours, bird watching and skiing, snowboarding and tobogganing options in winter months.
