The ruins of Laertes are located at the foot of Cebeli Reis mountain at an altitude of 1649, located 25 km east of Alanya.
It is estimated that the ancient city of Leartis, which is approximately 850 meters above sea level, dates back to the 7th century BC. It is understood from the inscription on a pedestal of Vespasian that the name of the city was Leartis, which lived its brightest period between the 1st and 3rd centuries.
