Side museum is located in the cc Bath, an ancient bath. The museum consists of five different halls. There is also an open area where the works are exhibited . Side Museum, which has been in service since 1962, exhibits many historical monuments.Among the exhibited works are the mythological friezes of Poseidon, the god of the sea, and the letter of the Roman Emperor Gallienus written on stone in 266-267 BC. One of the most important museums of the world, Side Museum exhibits artefacts belonging to different periods and most of these artefacts were found as a result of excavations in the ancient city of Side. The museum, which can be visited for a fee, can be visited between 08:00 and 17:00 in the summer months except 08:00 and 19:00 in winter and except Mondays.
