Iznik, which hosted many civilizations, was also the capital of the Seljuk Turks. Iznik, with its magnificent history and nature, is also a stopping point for those who want to hike and camp.

İznik Tile

Tile comes to mind when İznik is mentioned. Iznik tiles, which were first built in the 15th century, had their brightest days in the 16th and 17th centuries.İznik Tile, which came to the point of disappearance in the 18th century, returned to its old days in 1980 and became known all over the world. The tiles produced in Iznik were used in mosques, inns, baths, museums and mansions in every period. Today, tiles are exported from Iznik to many countries of the world.
