The windmills in Yalıkavak, built-in 1859, were used until 1970 and were renewed in 2005 to become the symbol of Yalıkavak.The windmills, which are among the most popular spots for those who want to take photographs today, are not only for tourism purposes but also host the Windmill Culture and Art Festival in June each year.
