Activities, Beaches and Caves in Kalkan

Kalkan Beaches

Güvercinlik sea cave

Güvercinlik cave, which is one of the sea caves in Kalkan, is located behind the İnce Cape. This cave, which is 2 km away from Kalkan, is swimming into if you wish to enter it. It has this name because it contains hundreds of pigeon nests. Since a small underground creek from inside the cave enters the sea, its water is very cool.

Boats departing from Kalkan Marina start their tours at 09:30 or 10:00 in the morning. Some boats also offer breakfast on board. During the tour, you can stop by Maradi Island between Kaş and Kalkan and take a break for swimming and snorkelling. After the break, the next stop is Fırnaz Bay which is one of the most beautiful bays of Kalkan. After the break, lunch is served.

Finally, you go to Güvercin Island and take a swimming break here. After the break, a return journey to Kalkan starts with fruit and tea service. The tour ends at 18:00 in Kalkan.

Kalkan, with its clear waters and bays where blue and turquoise meet, is an ideal place for those who want to do scuba diving.
