Those who want to come to Dalyan by land should follow Antalya, Fethiye or Muğla, Marmaris direction. Especially in the summer, there are direct buses from everywhere in Turkey as well as indirect buses from Muğla and Fethiye.

Transportation in Dalyan

While the months of July are the hottest months in Dalyan, where humidity is quite low in the summer months, January is the coldest month in Dalyan with an average of 11 degrees. From April to November, you can swim in Dalyan.  
Since the opening of the tourism season, a significant increase has been observed in the population of Dalyan since July, August and September are the busiest months. April, May, September and October are recommended for those who want to spend a quiet holiday, while those who want to stay in Dalyan are advised to book in advance.

Shopping and bazaars in Dalyan

Dalyan Bazaar is the first address among those who can shop in Dalyan. It is possible to find all kinds of products sought in the shops located sşde by side. The bazaar in the city centre is recommended to visit if you’d like to take a short walk after dinner and also visit the bazaar. In the neighbourhood bazaar which is held every Saturday in Dalyan, all kinds of products such as spices and textile products are sold beside the vegetables and fruits grown in the region. The products sold in the market include vegetables, dried fruits, farmer cheese, butter, tomato paste, yoghurt and herbs believed to have healing features. Another bazaar established in the region is held every Sunday in Köyceğiz

In Dalyan, which has traces of by Aegean and Mediterranean cuisine, olive oil dishes, appetizers and seafood stand out the most and for vegetarian ones, vegetable dishes made from herbs of the Aegean and the Mediterranean region are among the options. Other dishes from Dalyan include Tarhana, Arabasi soup, stuffed squash blossoms, Ekşili chicken, Yoghurt and Keşkek.
