Harpasa ancient city

The ancient city of Harpasa, one of the Carian cities, was founded on a high hill within the borders of Esenköy in the Nazilli district of Aydın. Although the exact date of establishment is not known, it is estimated that the city was founded in the 6th century BC. The ruins of the ancient city include the city walls, the ancient theatre and the city walls. The cemetery is located on the slope of the mountain near the city.
