Istanbul Fatih Mosque

Built by Fatih Sultan Mehmet between 1462 and 1470, the mosque has a madrasah, tabhane, soup kitchen, bathhouse, fountain, courtyard walls, hair door, mihrab, surrounding walls and library. Some parts of the mosque complex have not survived to date due to earthquakes. Fatih mosque, which is the first mosque where Turkish prayer is read, was built in baroque style and has a dome with a diameter of 26 meters.
