Tours and activities in İstanbul

There are different tours and activities for those who want to spend a different day in İstanbul and participate in the tours organized in İstanbul. These activities are organized daily, half-day or hourly. Some tours have to be booked in advance and some have the same day.

Bosphorus Boat Tour

The 3-hour walking tour of İstanbul’s historical sites offers an opportunity to see different points of İstanbul. Participants are advised to inform them in advance about tours and prices organized on many different routes.

İstanbul Miniatürk

People who want to spend a different day, especially in the frequently visited İstanbul for families with children there are worldwide recognized Turkey’s buildings, ancient theatres, mosques and mini replicas of places that are exhibited in much more historic value. Opened in 2003, Miniatürk exhibits more than 120 model works.

Turkuazo Aquarium

The Aquarium, which is home to approximately 10 thousand marine creatures, fascinates those who see it through a 90meter long acrylic tunnel. Buses 32-32A-32T are available for those who want to go to the aquarium, which is open every day.

İstanbul Dolphinarium

İstanbul Hop on – Hop of Bus Tour

For those who want to see İstanbul in summer heat or in winter, sightseeing tours of İstanbul are organized by bus. The tour starts from Sultanahmet, Taksim and stops at different points to be seen in İstanbul.
İstanbul tour by bus during the summer season from 10:30 to 18:30 from Taksim.
Sultanahmet Square, between 10:00 and 16:00.
During the winter season, every hour between 10:30 and 16:30 from Taksim
There is a bus from Sultanahmet Square every hour between 10:00 and 16:00.

İstanbul Adalar

Adalar, inhabited by people from many different ethnic groups, is made up of nine islands, five large and four small. The islands are one of the most frequently visited spots, especially in the summer months.  Visitors to the islands spend different days away from İstanbul traffic and stress. There are settlements in Büyükada, Heybeliada, Burgazada, Kınalıada, and Sedefada and there are no regular settlements on Sivriada, Yassiada, Kaşık Island and Tavşan Island.
The islands, which have been under the rule of many civilizations and empires, finally anchored on the Kınalı island during the occupation of İstanbul and bombed the island for 10 days. 

Transportation to the islands:
Transportation to islands close to İstanbul is provided by ferries, motor vehicles, sea taxis and sea buses. There are no problems in transportation as the city lines are organized every day.
