Iznik Hagia Sophia Mosque

The mosque in the town centre was used as a church until 1331. In 1331, it was converted into a mosque at the request of the Ottoman sultans Orhan Gazi.The building, which served as a museum for a period, was re-used as a mosque in 2011.
