Kaçkar National Park

Kaçkar National Park, which is located within the borders of Çamlıhemşin district, is 16 km away from Çamlıhemşin centre and was declared a National Park in 1994. Rafting, trekking, mountaineering, waterfall climbing and heliski activities can be done in the National Park which covers a large area. The National Park which has the best ecosystem in Turkey is home to 756 different plant species and dozens of wild animals that chose the park as their natural habitat. Zil castle, storm stream, glacial valleys, lakes and waterfalls in the park attract nature lovers.
