Places to visit in Ayvalık

With its immaculate nature, historical houses and streets, there are many places to see in Ayvalık. In addition to wandering around the bazaar, Cunda Island and the villages around Ayvalik are among the recommended places to visit.

The Devil Table, 10 km away from Ayvalık, is definitely recommended for those who want to watch the sunset and take great pictures. It takes its name from the small pit on the top of the hill, which resembles a footprint. Those who want to go to the Devil table can easily reach by following the Sarımsaklı sign. There is paid parking lot for vehicles on the hill.

Ayvalık Olive Museum:

Ayvalık has become a rich port town by trading olive since the 18th century. It also produces the top- quality olive oil. Located in Küçük Kuyu, the soap factory restored and transformed into Turkey first olive museum in 2001. Old method presses used in the production of olive oil, olive collecting tools, olive and olive oil carrying and storage containers are exhibited in the museum while the journey of olive from production to the table is explained.

The Paradise Hill:

The Paradise Hill: The Paradise Hill, which has the most beautiful view after Devil&#39;s Dinner Table, is located in Armutçuk region of Ayvalık.
