How to get to Tekirova

Tekirova is very easy to reach because of its proximity to many holiday regions. Those who want to go to Tekirova can follow Antalya-Kumluca highway and signs and reach after 50 km.

Places to see in Tekirova

Visitors can easily visit the ancient cities around Tekirova. The main places to visit are the Tekirova ecological park, Maden (At Bükü) bay, Olympos, Yanartaş, Tahtalı Mountain, Phaselis and Ulupınar.Tekirova also offers opportunities for nature walks due to its nature. 

Tekirova Ecological Natural Park

Established on an area of 40 thousand square meters, Tekirova Ecological Park was opened to visitors in 2005. The reptiles in the park are shown to the visitors in their natural environment. It is also possible to see different bird species in the park.

Maden (At bükü) Bay

Maden Bay which is 32 km away from Kemer, is reached by passing through Tekirova neighbourhood and following the forest road for 10 km. With fine pebble beach and clear sea, the bay is frequented by camp enthusiasts, can be reached from Çıralı Beach with the historical Lycian way policy.  

Three islands and scuba diving

These islands are also known as Martı, Mağara , Piknik and Küçük islands.These islands, with a very clean sea, are one of the favourite spots for diving lovers. The islands can be reached after a 30-minute boat ride. Diving lovers can see underwater cliffs and caves at the points near the islands which have a very wide diving area. Diving training centres in Tekirova also offer diving training courses for those who wish.

What to eat

Since it is a touristic region, it is possible to taste different delicacies from different cuisines of the world and it is possible to find dishes of Turkish cuisine in Tekirova. It is recommended to taste seafood and appetizers.

Shopping

Even though there are not many big shopping malls, it is easy to find everything from the products of many world-renowned brands, from goods to textiles.In Tekirova, which does not have a huge bazaar, it is recommended that those who go shopping should go in the morning or in the evening due to the temperature.
