Urla

Urla is a small and charming district of Izmir and is one of the most beautiful holiday resorts in the region. While the Mediterranean climate is seen in Urla which can be visited in four seasons, the average annual temperature is determined as 16 degrees. The hottest months of the year are July and August, while the peak months are determined as the period between June and September. It is recommended that those who want to spend a quiet holiday come to Urla in September and October.

How to get to Urla?

Those who want to come to Urla by plane should first come to Izmir airport. You can easily reach the Izmir bus station with the city buses from the airport and after a 30-minute journey with Urla buses. Those who want to come by private vehicles can reach Urla via İzmir by following the signs. You can also easily reach Urla by using intercity buses .

What to eat in Urla?

In Urla which is dominated by Aegean and Mediterranean cuisine, seafood stands out the most. Nearly thirty different types of fish, appetizers, vegetarian dishes and salads made with herbs that are grown only in that region are served to the visitors in the Urla kitchens.   Those who come to Urla are recommended to taste stuffed squash blossom, stuffed artichoke, Urla katmer.
