With its lush nature, abundant oxygen and deep-rooted history, Artvin have many spots to see. Places to visit include inns, baths, mosques, churches, bazaars, museums and natural beauties. Artvin has unique natural beauties and there are many places to see.

 Atatepe:

Atatepe is the most visited place of Artvin and it has the largest statue of Atatürk. Made of 40 tons of steel and 10 tons of copper, the statue also has a magnificent view of Artvin. Since 2017, Atatepe serves its visitors with its restaurant and cafeteria. Atatepe is 3 km from the city centre and can be visited by private vehicles or taxis.

Dolishane Church

The church in Artvin Hamamli village was built by King Sunbath in the middle of the 10th century. It is possible to reach the church which attracts attention with its interesting architecture, bypassing a 6 km road through the Berta bridge of the Artvin-Şaviat road.

Karagöl Sahara National Park

Karagöl national park, which enchants those who see it as a natural wonder, is located 92 km from Artvin and 25 km north of Şavşat district. In the national park, there are meadows and forests, lakes, hiking areas and camping areas, there is also a facility for those who wish to stay. The entrance is for a fee and transportation is provided by minibuses or private vehicles departing from Şavşat district.

Hatila Valley National Park

Hatila National Park is a national park that includes the Hatila Creek and its surrounding streams within the borders of the central district of Artvin. The area, which was declared a national park in 1994, is frequently visited by nature enthusiasts and nature photographers and also hosts wild animals. Turkeys highest glass observation deck at 230 meters in height is also located here.

Hell Creek Canyon

Located on the 25th kilometre of the Artvin-Ardanuç highway, the canyon is frequently visited by nature lovers due to its different geographical structure. After the Grand Canyon in America, Hell Creek Canyon is known as the world’s second-largest canyon.

Mençuna Waterfall

Mençuna waterfall is located in Arhavi district, 80 km from the centre of Artvin. It is a lake formed by the waterfall pouring from a height of 100 meters, and it fascinates those who see it. The waterfall can be visited after a steep walk after a car ride to the waterfall.

Ortacalar Double Bridge

The bridges, which are 2.5 km away from Ortacalar part of Arhavi district, are at the crossroads of Arılı and Küçükköy and are frequently visited by nature hikers, photographers and camp lovers. Both bridges, which are thought to have been built in the 19th century, are 35.5 meters long and 2.8 meters wide and are open to pedestrian traffic only
