the ancient City of Simena (Kaleköy)

Kaleköy, where there is no road transport, is only reached by boat. Kale village is one of the stopping points for boat trips and blue voyagers, 40 km from Kaş. The castle, cistern and ancient tombs are historical monuments dating back to the present day in the ancient city dating back to the 4th century BC. Kaleköy castle, which is the most beautiful viewing point of Kekova and its surroundings, is also here. There is also the smallest theatre of the Lycian cities for 300 people with 7 rows of seats carved into the natural rock. Entrance to the castle is chargeable and the museum card is valid. As a result of earthquakes and landslides over time, some of the ancient city and artefacts were inundated. The boat tour offers an hour stopover.
