Buldan houses:

Located 45 km from Denizli, Buldan is visited by thousands of people every year, especially with its houses built with a different architectural approach. These houses have Ottoman architectural features and were built in the 18th and 19th centuries. The houses, which is built with wooden materials, have a distinctive atmosphere and 117 houses and 31 streets have been taken under protection after recent restorations. The efforts to enter the houses into the UNESCO World Heritage list is still underway. Buldan can be reached by private vehicles as well as Denizli-Buldan minibuses departing from Denizli bus terminal.  

Bağbaşı Plateau and Cable Car:

The Bağbaşı plateau, which is preferred by those who want to escape from the heat especially in summer and cool of, is approximately 9 km from Denizli. In addition to bungalow houses, there are tents for rent, camping areas, activity areas, areas where local products are sold, and facilities to meet the needs of eating and drinking. This area, which is visited daily or long-term, is located at an altitude of 1400 meters. Those who want to go to Bağbaşı plateau should come to Bağbaşı neighbourhood and go up by cable car. After the cable car, there is a free shuttle to Bagbasi plateau.

Historical Kaleici Bazaar

Kaleiçi is an old bazaar in Denizli city centre and recommended to be visited. The bazaar is surrounded by strong and visible 1-meter thick city walls which is 800 meters long and 80 meters of it is still intact built-in Byzantine period. It is known that the settlement in Kaleiçi started in the 11th century after the abandonment of Laodikeia, the ancient city 5 km away.  Thousands of different products, mainly textiles, are sold in dozens of shops in the bazaar.
