Festivals in Mardin

Different festivals are organized in the historical city of Mardin during certain months of the year. All details about the festivals are published online before the festival.

Mardin Bienali Festival

The festival, which is one of the cultural and art activities of Mardin, is organized in a different concept in May. Many artistic events are organized within the scope of the 1-month festival.

International Cherry Festival

The most beautiful cherries grown in the region are exhibited in the festival held in Yeşilli district of Mardin every year in June. Competitions and concerts are organized within the scope of the festival.

International Circus Festival

Every year in September, the festival is organized in the Artuklu district of Mardin. Within the scope of the festival, shows and competitions are organized for children.  

International Mardin Film Festival

Since 2007, the festival has been organized every year in October, and short, long, documentary and amateur films are shown. The artists participating in the films also meet the audience by participating in the festival. 

Harire Festival

Within the scope of the festival organized by the Mardin big city municipality in October, a dessert named Harire made from grape and flour are served to the visitors while various competitions, games and shows are organized.
