Serik

Serik, which has become one of the popular holiday destinations in recent years, is located 40 km away from Antalya city centre and 7 km inside from the seashore. The world-famous Aspendos city and theatre, which is visited by millions every year, as well as the 22 km coastline, are located within the borders of Serik and it also has many historical monuments and ancient cities.  The first settlement in Serik was in the Sillyon and Aspendos regions in the second century AD. Serik attracts visitors with immaculate nature, rich history and many points to see.

Transportation

The nearest airport is located in Antalya.  Serik is reached after a 1-hour journey from Antalya airport. In addition to HAVAŞ bus services from Antalya airport to Serik, taxis are among the transportation options. There is also the possibility to reach Serik via the minibuses from the airport to the Antalya bus terminal. Due to the heavy air traffic in the summer months, Gazipaşa airport is also an alternative.For those who want to come by land, there are buses from everywhere in Turkey.

Climate

Serik has a Mediterranean climate. Summers are hot and dry winters are mild and rainy. Temperatures in summer can go above normal. It is possible to have a holiday in both summer and winter in Serik, which is sunny for about 300 days. Air and sea temperatures in summer and winter are similar to Antalya, Alanya, Belek, Side and Manavgat. The hottest month is July and August, and it is recommended that those who spend their holiday in Serik do not stay outside during the hot weather.

Serik Beach

Serik, which has a coastline of 20 km, has the opportunity to swim at many points. There are also Kadriye Public Beach, Belek Public Beach and Boğazkent Public Beach close to Serik. Serik beaches, which are completely sandy, have the opportunity to sunbathe and walk all day long. In addition to doing all kinds of water sports at the beaches, concerts, volleyball tournaments, activities such as beach football are also available. Shower cabins, shower and toilet services are provided free of charge on the beach and sunbeds and umbrellas are provided for a fee. Serik beach can be reached by private vehicles or there are minibuses from Serik.
